What makes a website, webapplication to successful?
This would be a very big wall, so let`s clear the context a bit: Success in meeting certain goals and the "path" towards the goal can be measured, ie the partial results before reaching the goal can also be considered a success, as we are moving on the designated path.
Did we achieve what we planned, but at least did we manage to start on the road there perceptibly. Success can be 5 more visitors, 100 customers, 1,000 subscribers, 10,000 downloads, or just a few like our article.
The point is to define your goals and do not overboard.
You can dream big and make it small (see our other article on MVP ie minimum viable product ). around the topic). What is most important for success is that we need to set ourselves a goal, the smallest goal we can achieve and strive for.
In terms of websites, the following are the most common goals we have had so far:
- To get better results with our website with certain terms
- Get more orders/purchases
- Reach more share or other activity
- Get more subscribers to our newsletter
- To have more potential/registering user
- Get more views / activity on your blog posts
- Professional look of shares on social media interfaces
In addition, there are modernization and refactoring of obsolete websites, speed and load optimization also frequent
If you remember one of our previous posts where statistics was our topic, not only do users navigate from a slow, non-mobile, or non-user-friendly site, but a huge percentage of the users NEVER visite the problematic site again, and they're looking for the competition, and they're looking for the product/service at your competitor, instead of you
Overall, therefore, an application / website is successful if it is positive for users and, from a business perspective, shows a growing trend from any point of view, whether the number of page views, the number of newsletter subscribers, the number of contacts, or the direct conversion we are looking at, in all of which the growing trend is contributing to the success of our business.
